It seems I experience fear in my life because of the commitments I make.  This week I made the commitment to Run 1 mile without walking.  The moment I started running my body began telling me "you can't catch your breath, your feet hurt, this is uncomfortable, YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH!"  I knew to look for the fear and as a result I kept my commitment.

Grace, my 4 year old, woke up early for some snuggle time this morning. At one point she looked up at me and said "Daddy, don't forget to smile today."  At times I am so focused that I am and appear to be uptight.  I forget to smile.  Today I am going to smile on purpose.

I make a point to be available to my daughters in light of all of life's demands. If I'm not available at the moment they need me, they'll find someone else...possibly someone whose wisdom is inferior to mine.

I say, "John, I've got this gold mine. I've got so much gold I don't know what to do with it all. Come on over and dig." John says, "I don't have a shovel." I say, "well, John, let's get you one." He says, "Don't you know what they want for shovels these days?" - Jim Rohn
You see the prison of perception is... "I don't have enough time. I'll never make enough money. I'm not smart enough." Believing is seeing!

This is my first post of my first blog from my goals list created over a year ago.  By sharing my thoughts and experiences my aim is to love, smile and give.
